Lipid Regulators

Statins (or HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) are a class of drugs that reduce cholesterol by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA which has a central role in producing cholesterol in the liver.  These drugs share a commonality of the end of their name.  This makes recognition of drugs from these drugs easy.
